About the event
This is one of our rescheduled combo training days - two requirements completed in a couple of hours.
Basics of Watchkeeping:
Gain an understanding of the watch system - a regular rotation of crew shifts throughout the day in order to make sure all posts are manned at all times. Duties to be performed include look-out, boat check, and runner. Timeliness and understanding of reporting hierarchies ensure a safe and smooth voyage
Boat Check:
The well-being of our ship is tantamount for the safety of everyone in a voyage. Learn the routine procedure required on every watch that is designed to catch any potential abnormalities before they become problems.
