Beckets on the Barge, 5:00p - 7:00p
Experienced splicers needed! Help us make new beckets for the rig after this Saturday’s Crew Work Day on our barge, Poplar. Pizza will be provided! Whether you’re looking to improve your short splice or are interested in learning the technique, you are welcome to join. We will have practice lines and tools available. How to Be a Good Shipmate, 10:00a - 11:00a
Ship. Shipmates. Self. Learn how to stay safe when volunteering on the boat, including basics of personal protective equipment and emergency procedures. Pre-Apprentice Program Potluck, 5:00p - 7:00p
Our Pre-Apprenticeship Program is coming to an end this month, so we're celebrating their time with us with a farewell potluck on the barge.
