We have a legacy to uphold.
Because of the relentless volunteer support since 1973, we are able to announce that in 2026, Gazela Primeiro will sail to the Chesapeake Bay as part of Gazela’s 125th, and the nationwide celebration of America’s 250th, anniversary. This sail will take all hands on deck, but the season of preparation is already catapulting PSPG into our greatest chapter yet. We've always had strength in creating community, teaching maritime trade and heritage, and bringing people to the water here in Philadelphia. Now we have been expanding our reach through our pre-apprenticeship program, educational programming, events, and more day sails. Upcoming will be our maritime trade school, which will bring young people into the growing marine industry in Philly. We humbly thank you for supporting The Philadelphia Ship Preservation Guild over the years, and are excited to have you aboard for the future. This page is all America250/Gazela125 related things. Please consider coming to our ships to volunteer, or donate.
