About the event
The Gazela has loads of lines, blocks, masts, and so many other moving parts. Vessel Familiarization is the perfect way to begin to understand how a tall ship works! This training class is open to the public!
This workshops contains important information about the physical parts of our beloved barkentine. If you want to set sail with us, it's important to learn how we actually do it!
We will be setting sail for the Chesapeake this summer for six weeks, and would love to have you on board! Starting with an intro to the guild training class is the perfect way to get involved with our nonprofit organization. Afterwards, we welcome you to do some work on the ship, as she always needs it! It's a great way to learn some hard trade skills that will help you down the road.
