About the event
Intro to the Guild contains some basic information for people who would like to know more about Philadelphia Ship Preservation Guild. We typically give a little tour, answer any questions you may have, and let you know how you can help.
We will be setting sail for the Chesapeake this summer for six weeks, and would love to have you on board! Starting with an intro to the guild training class is the perfect way to get involved with our nonprofit organization. Afterwards, we welcome you to do some work on the ship, as she always needs it! It's a great way to learn some hard trade skills that will help you down the road.
We love having new people, so come one, come all! Bring your friends, closed toed shoes, and clothes you can get dirty in. We provide hearing protection, safety glasses, work gloves, etc.
