About The Event
Step aboard with your students for some immersive learning about our living, floating classroom, the historic Gazela Primeiro. Enjoy learning stations and activities around topics like Navigation, Knot Tying, Codfish, Sailor bags (i.e. "ditty bags"), and a tour around the deck of the ship. Best suited for students K-12, designed especially with Homeschools, co-ops and small groups in mind.
This is a drop-in day, meaning there's no ofofficneed to RSVP unless you have 10 or more students. (If bringing 25 or more students, please inquire about a dedicated field trip. This is an informal event for smaller groups of students).
The cost is $10 per student - you can either purchase ahead of time on this page, or you can purchase upon arrival through our website. Groups of 10 students and more will receive a discount at $7 per student.
