If you are excited about Gazela's trip to the Chesapeake next summer, now is the time to show up and do the hard work to get her ready. A huge part of that work is refurbishing the spars so they will be ready to rig up in the spring.

If you are excited about Gazela's trip to the Chesapeake next summer, now is the time to show up and do the hard work to get her ready. A huge part of that work is refurbishing the spars so they will be ready to rig up in the spring. But we can't get to scraping and varnishing until we build the cover over the spars.
With that in mind, this Saturday we will be putting all our efforts toward preparing the shipping container walls to receive the roof trusses. This means there will be no work on the ship this Saturday. Please come to Chester. It's likely to be a bit rainy, so dress accordingly, but this work is too important to put off.
