All hands to both Chester and Penn's Landing! In Sparlandia (Chester), we'll be getting the spars and rig ready to get staged next weekend. Onboard Gazela, we'll be finishing up some deck projects and painting.

About the event
It's an exciting weekend as we prepare for Gazela to reunite with her spars. Help out in Chester getting the 'sticks' ready for staging next weekend, or hop aboard Gazela to help finish deck projects and move the painting work forward.
Volunteer Requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age, or 14 with a parent’s participation. Closed toed shoes are required. Be sure to wear something that is not movement restrictive, too loose (as to catch on machinery), or something that you don’t want to get dirty! Many of our ship restoration and preservation duties will leave you covered in dirt, paint, sweat and sawdust.
Join us for our weekly Saturday work days to help us restore and maintain our Historic Ship. No sign-up or experience necessary, just be sure to wear clothes that can get dirty and closed-toed shoes. Want to know what’s on deck for the work…
