About the event

Required course to sail with us! Learn and practice techniques for handling lines, including docklines, running rigging, and gantlines. It's absolutely essential for this material to be muscle-memory when we're underway.

We will be setting sail for the Chesapeake this summer for six weeks, and we need a trained crew! Starting with an Intro to the Guild session is the perfect way to get involved with our nonprofit organization. Afterwards, we welcome you to do some work on the ship to get us prepared for her multi-week voyage! It's a great way to learn some hard trade skills that will help you down the road.

We love having new people, so come one, come all! Wear closed-toed shoes and clothing you don't mind getting dirty.
