THE 3 KEYS of the VISION OF THE PSPG:

1.

Skilled trades education, with a focus on apprenticeships for trade industries, preparation for participants to obtain maritime credentials and accreditations, and educational programming for all.

2.

Acquire, manage, and develop a waterfront facility to host education activities, allow the ongoing maritime preservation work of the Guild, and provide public access and engagement with the working waterfront that built the city.

3.

Restore the vessels in the Guild’s care to ensure the vessels’ longevity and continued sea service, an ability to teach maritime and historic preservation skills, and an opportunity to inspire future generations of Philadelphians.
