Gazela Primeiro, a 108-year old Portuguese cod fishing ship, will be visiting New Bedford from July 29 to Aug 2, 2010, located on the south side of State Pier.

The ship's volunteer crew is offering a behind-the-scenes tour of the ship, knot tying and sail handling for the price of $25. Proceeds will help defray the cost of operating this historic vessel, while providing hands-on experience limited to those special few who sail the seas.
